This wine more closely resembles that of it's Italian brother "Primotivo" with it's "old world" restraint and finese. Intensely complex this wine manifests layers of rich black fruits, plums, and currants crowned by deep floral and spice notes, beautiful green herbaceous accents, and a refined and elegant finish.
